| North Raleigh Pediatrics is a group of board certified physicians and physician assistants, nurses and administrative staff who are dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of our young patients and families. Our providers care for newborn babies and children hospitalized at Wake Medical Center and Rex Hospital. We offer the services of a certified lactation consultant who conducts breastfeeding consults, newborn health visits, and parenting classes in our office. On the third and fourth Saturdays of October, we sponsor influenza vaccine clinics for our patients and their extended families. CPR Consultants also holds weekend child and infant CPR classes in our office. North Raleigh Pediatrics is located near Stonehenge Market on Creedmoor Rd. in North Raleigh [link to map]. Our address is 7205 Stonehenge Dr., Raleigh, NC, 27613. Office hours are 8:30am-7:00pm Monday through Friday. We are available Saturday and Sunday from 8:30-11AM . Please call 848-BABY (848-2229) for an appointment. You may also use this number for nurse messages, prescription refill requests, and to speak to our lactation consultant. After hours, the trained nurses at the Wake Medical Center Pediatric Triage Service will respond to emergency calls. There is a nominal fee for this service which helps support the triage system. After hours emergencies may be handled in the office or through a local emergency room depending upon the nature of the problem. Please always call for an appointment for weekdays or weekends. A walk-in patient will be given the first available open appointment in order to honor our scheduled patients. If you have a true emergency, please try to call and tell us that you are on your way so we can make arrangements for your ill child. If you have a life-threatening situation, you should call 911. For ingestions, call poison control at 1-800-848-6946. Please try to call during office hours for non-urgent questions, prescription refills, appointments and business concerns. | Practice Philosophy |

Raleigh Pediatrics is dedicated to the physical health and
developmental wellbeing of our growing patients and their families.
We strive to provide the latest medical treatments and preventative
health care guidance. We follow a schedule of regular health maintenance
visits; six well/immunization visits in the first eighteen months,
yearly check-ups until age five, and physicals/sports exams at least
every other year through adolescence. We provide pre-college assessments
and will continue to provide health care through a patient’s
college career.
Our treatment philosophies follow
the current guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics and
the Centers for Disease Control. We carefully evaluate all patients
before prescribing antibiotics or other medications. We believe
in the benefits of routine immunization to protect our patients’
health. We are happy to discuss healthcare options and will always
address treatment questions and concerns. |
